Juliette L. McDonald is a native of Tallahassee, Florida. She clearly understands that her ultimate purpose in life is to "
Glorify the Lord." She strives to live by 1 Corinthians 10:31, "
Whether therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God." She believes God has endowed her with the spiritual gifts of: administration, exhortation, and teaching to be used for the edification of the Body of Christ.
She earned a B.S. in Sociology/Social Welfare and Master's of Education in Guidance and Counseling from Florida A&M University. She also holds a Master's of Theology and Doctor of Philosophy in Nouthetic Counseling from
Smith Chapel Bible College. She is also a Board Certified Christian and faith-based Counselor. She has been employed by the Florida State University Career Center as an Associate Director/Career Counselor for 16 years.
She has been married to
Rev. Dr. Frank McDonald for over 30 years. They have two adult children, Erik and Monica. They are dedicated "servants" of Bethel Missionary Baptist Church. She is involved in the Women's Ministry and co-chairs the Prayer Ministry and the Haiti Ministry with her husband.
Dr. McDonald sincerely believes she has a "calling" and mission to promote and advocate lifelong health, fitness, and wellness, especially among God's people through biblical counseling, prayer and workshops/presentations, all for the glory of God. As result of this calling, she wrote the book entitled, "The Biblical Blueprint to Lifelong Health, Fitness, and Wellness: A Paradigm Shift." She is also the President and CEO of Divine Breakthrough Ministries, Inc. (DBMI), a ministry that teaches and counsels believers to use spiritual weapons such as faith, prayer and persistence to breakthrough strongholds that hinder them from living an abundant life of
victory. Last, but certainly not least, she is a disciple of Jesus Christ.
